We were so disappointed the boat didn't go fast. We saw while out on the airboat (which seemed rather short) we saw only about 3 alligators. We were so excited to go on a fast airboat ride, and see a lot of gators. Safari Park was just on the side of the road, and it was really nice, very big. The Everglades are nothing like NOLA I realized. I have never been to the Everglades, the only thing I had been to that I thought would be similar is New Orleans. It was about an hour drive from the port, maybe even 45 minutes. It was included in the airport transfer, so we got to get off the ship super early, and go to The Everglades. We booked it through Carnival, on our last day at the Port of Miami.
